No Hunger in Eritrea in 2010 says President Isaias Afwerki

There Would Exist No Hunger in Eritrea in 2010, President Declares

President Isaias Afwerki said that at a time when the greater portion of the Horn of Africa is expected to face acute food shortage, there would exist no hunger in Eritrea in 2010.  He made the remarks at the closing session of the two-day meeting of Regional Administrators in Massawa.

Stating that this year’s harvest was not equitable in all the administrative regions, the President pointed out that the Government has drawn up plans towards ensuring no-hunger situation nationwide through meeting the demands of those areas adversely affected by inadequate rainfall.

In its today’s session, the meeting conducted deliberations on the setting up of a task force on trade and investment permits. In an extensive briefings he gave regarding the objectives and mission of the task force, President Isaias underlined that the ultimate goal of trade and investment is to make due contribution to the growth of the national economy, and thereby improve the people’s standard of living. In this respect, he explained that unless trade and investment activities are legally and properly regulated, it could entail grave damage to the national economy through causing price hike, and thus negatively affect the people’s standard of living.

Indicating that the prevalence of illegal trade and money transfer, as well as failure to regularly pay taxes and customs duties give rise to decline in national revenue, besides escalating inflation, the President stressing the need for applying strict control mechanism in this regard. He went on to explain that new work procedures would be introduced aimed at ensuring transparency and efficient control and follow-up mechanisms with a view to promoting fair trading activities that benefit producers. To this end, previously existing bottlenecks would be rectified, in addition to revising trade and investment permit procedures, President Isaias added. Accordingly, he elaborated that all trade and investment permits presently in force would be reviewed by the task force in the year 2010.

Long live with a healthy and peaceful life to ISAIAS the true leader of a modern African nation in Eritrea.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR Dr Meles, already his hair has left him alone, bold and old.
The brave people of Ethiopia have left him alone.
Soon his wife and pimp of USA will leave him too.
The only way to run is to southern Africa where rejects like Mengistu are welcome.

“Let it shine”, no matter what the hypocrites dream is. The truth shall come forward Eritrea will prevail. Wedi Afwerki is from the people, by the people and for the people unlike Meles with its rogue Weyane.
FYI…ISAIAS is the correct way of spelling the East African idol’s name. I have a dream the great nation of Ethiopia has the potential to repossess its grand name as the most prospers after eliminate its own thugs.

This man is as mad as it can gets. while The entire population is in food rationing; one bread for one person a day. As a direct resulte of his dictatorship, he talks about "no hunger in 2010"

Gues what Mr. Isaias, you will no more hurt Eritreans in 2010. Because you and your crime bodys will be illuminated from the face of Eritrea by the people of Eritrea.

HOOOOORAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

What a great news from the great and dear leader ASS-yass. They will have food coming out of their ears. This thug will go the way of many criminals. These idiot has played the Entire people of Eritrea. His time will come when he will have to pay for his criminal acts. He is pushing a lot of buttons. One of them will end up back firing. He has no shame to tell a bold faced lie. He thinks 2010 is a far away year. What will he say when 2010 arrives. This thief who is stealing from the oppressed people of Eritrea will get his due. The only one who won't go hungry come 2010 is this thug, his family and his Generals who have forsaken their integrity in pursuit of money and material gain. But the hungry masses will set on them one day. Dictators like ASS-yas seem to forget that all the youth that he trains intends to use as cannon fodders will one day turn the guns on them. Didn't people get fed up with Mengistu and tried to get rid of him in 89 and he run away like a coward that he is. It is just a matter of time all these war lords will one day pay their dues. Same goes to that criminal Meles and his thugs. There will be hell to pay. The sad thing is they will just be replaced by the same characters.
